Kiilto Pro Universal Probio is Finland's first probiotic all-purpose cleaner developed for professional cleaning with the Nordic Ecolabel certification, also known as the Swan Label.
Probiotic cleaning is a new but well-researched approach to maintenance cleaning. The principle is based on the dirt decomposition process by enzymes produced by probiotics, which helps prevent impurities and reduce the living space of harmful microbes, such as various pathogens.
Probiotics can promote a safe microbial environment, especially in public spaces such as schools, kindergartens, hotels, and nursing homes. Kiilto Pro Universal Probio effectively cleans all water-resistant hard surfaces while leaving beneficial microbes, probiotics, on them. Over time, they remove organic dirt and odors long-term, making future cleaning easier.
The criteria for the Swan Label require that cleaning agents containing microorganisms must have better cleaning performance than general cleaning requirements. Additionally, it is required that the microorganisms are proven to be safe, naturally occurring, and GMO-free, meaning they are not genetically modified organisms. The Swan Label also stipulates that the microorganisms must not be resistant to antibiotics, the substances in the product must have minimal environmental impact, and the product must be safe for users.
